Goodbye Maddy! We surely enjoyed our time with this darling little lady. We went to church with Michael and Maddy this morning, and then we climbed back into the car for the drive from New Jersey to Ohio. We're staying at Katie's lovely home again, ready to launch early tomorrow morning, as we continue to head west, this time to Kansas and visits with Kendra and David and their families.

PS - the hours between New Jersey and Ohio flew by again today. Such pretty countryside, filled with rolling green hills and well-kept farmlands. We finished our read-aloud book, Peter and the Starcatchers, just before arriving in Columbus. Peter's adventures, humorous and breathtaking, kept us on our toes right up until the end. It's a delightful prequel to the Peter Pan stories.
