Did I offend...

...with my post about socks?

Please know that if you are a sockless devotee, you have my respect for whatever footwear choices you make. My comments only apply to me.

No one made any comments, so now I'm nervous...

Nah, I've seen your feet. I know what they look like. :)

When Ken was growing up the pile of mix-matched socks was a normal occurance. His mom would put all the socks in one basket and when they needed a pair each day, they riffled through the collection to find two that sort of matched... !

I just re-read your post and thought of something else. Since I attend Church with young singles, I have noticed that going bare-legged is quite the style now. In fact, by wearing "nylons" I am firmly securing my place in the "Old Lady" category. On ocassion I have gone stockingless, and yeah, it feels really wierd...

Being a person who loathes wearing socks, I think I just couldn't relate to your post. Honestly, I couldn't think of anything to say. I try to get away with wearing socks as little as possible. In fact, from about April to late October, the only socks I put on my feet are athletic socks when I run or walk. Otherwise I like my toes to breathe.

Of course we're all entitled to our opinions, and I for one don't think a devotion to socks (or a lack of one, as I have) is anything more than personal preference. And it's something more I got to learn about my wonderful friend Kathy!

wink. wink.

Awww! Kathy! I'm sorry you were nervous. I love socks. Half my the socks in my perfectly aligned sock drawer are the comfy, fluffy type for putting on as soon as i get out of bed in the morning.
I also keep a basket for all the socks that come out of the dryer unmatched. It's like a big breath of fresh air to go through them and match them all up every week.
