Thank goodness for Google Translate! Today I received a comment (all in German) on this post, but I was able to copy/paste the comment to Google Translate...to figure out that Brigitte at KB Design had kindly sent the link to the photo of her fabric ball. You can admire it here.
(She used a slightly different pattern from mine. Her pattern uses less fabric, and the balls have more a little more slack than balls made from my pattern.)
Does everyone in Switzerland knit? Both she and Lily have so many examples of beautiful knitting projects on their blogs. If you love yarn crafts, be sure to spend some time poking around Brigitte's blog to appreciate her many beautiful creations.
I also enjoyed reading about some of Brigitte's recent hikes (you know me...).

Alle von meiner Generation lernten in der Schule über viele Jahre Stricken, Häkeln und Nähen. Bei mir ist es immer eine Leidenschaft gebliebewn, genau wie auch das Wandern. Jetzt gerade komme ich von einer herrlichen Wanderung an der Sonne.
Jetzt werde ich noch in deinem Blog mich umsehen und bin auf deine, bestimmt schönen, Sachen und Wanderungen gespannt.
